Ok, slap me and call me stupid but I got a call from a rescue this evening and Saturday I am going to go meet this little 9 wk old mini schnauzer who is in need of a home. Seems she was adopted but is being returned for 'being a puppy'. Izzy needs a playmate as Taz and Zoey are pretty bonded to one another and they are old and not as playful as Iz. So we will go meet our potential FOURTH addition to the fold. I've been laying here thinking up Z names all evening. (Mayzee, Bitzy, Bizzy, Soozee, Weezie....BUT I think I like Gracie). So we'll see. I'm taking Iz with me to meet her - the other two won't mind, Iz may.

Having four dogs is a lot of work, but I hope you get her anyway. Especially if you buy the new house where you'll have (I think) lots more room.
By the way, what do you think of the name "Isis"?
Yeah LOT of work and expense. I cook for my dogs! ROFL. BUT they are small dogs (Iz is about 10lbs)...and Taz...well Grandpa's days are numbered I'm afraid...I see cognative changes in him...happening faster...poor old guy. I will have to think about it. I will go meet her but will sleep on it before making any decisions. To top it off they sent me a pic of her litter mate which I will post. Will try to get my sister to take it. Isis.....not my cup of tea...sounds like a superhero or a name for a cat or a snake...I could see a doberman or greyhound with that name. Schnauzers are scrappy little things not elegant like the name Isis suggests :) I wish it was a little male.....I was set on the name "Snoop Dog" :)
