Traditional Zucchini Bread

Zucchini bread is a wonderful and easy snack to make. If you're looking to make homemade zucchini bread with the traditional flavors you know and love, turn to traditional zucchini bread.

Cooking Time: 1 hr
Ingredients

* 3 cups grated zucchini
* 1 cup oil (salad)
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 3 eggs, beaten
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 3 cups flour
* 1 1/2 baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon ginger
* 1 cup chopped nuts
* 1 cup raisins

Instructions

1. Combine zucchini, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

2. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt and ginger and blend into zucchini mixture.

3. Beat 4 minutes.

4. Stir in nuts and raisins.

5. Place in greased loaf pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

Notes

This recipe freezes well.
