McDonald's double cheeseburger will cost $1.19

McDonald's made it official, saying the double cheeseburger, the anchor of its dollar menu, will have a recommended price of $1.19 beginning Dec. 1.

At the same time, the dollar menu will add a new burger called the McDouble, essentially the double cheeseburger, but with only one slice of cheese instead of two.
