A plant-based diet is both preventative and healing, whereas a diet high in animal protein is destructive to our health.

Okay Beth, you are in the medical profession. Do you believe this? I have thought of becoming vegetarian for this reason, I suffer from both diabetes and heart disease. I'm not joking. I actually have visions of different eating, but I have not acted on this totally. What do you really think?

Yes I believe it. If you look up any health statistics on Seventh Day Adventists whose health message is vegetarianisim - they live longer! I used to be a vegetarian until I married a pagan :) I am trending back to that because it's better for the environment, better for your health. Our bodies were not designed for consumption of meat.
