Western Style Beef & Beans

This hearty, chili-like dish is really very good and satisfying. My son used to suck this up. Tastes like something you'd eat around a campfire. I usually half the recipe.

3# ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
2 celery ribs, chopped
2 tsp beef bouillon granuels
2/3 cup boiling water
2 cans (28 oz each) baked beans with molasses
1-1/2 cups ketsup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
3 garlic cloves minced
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 lb sliced bacon cooked and crumbled.

In dutch oven over med heat, cook beef, onions and celery until meet is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain. Dissolve boullion in water; stir into beef mixture. Add beans, ketsup, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper and mix well. Cover and bake at 375 for 60-70 minutes until bubbly. Stir and top w/bacon.

Serve with hard bread and salad for a complete meal.
