The zoo artificially inseminated 38 females. These were the first 16 born, and include 5 sets of twins. The others were due later in the fall.

For those that haven't seen the 16 pandas born in Oct 2005...
These little ones were born in the Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center in Southern China.
