Stuff

Whew. First nice 'weekend' yet. Usually beautiful during the week but the weekend weather has sucked. Although partly overcast today at least its not raining. I was awakened off and on through the night by thunder bolts and lightening (very, very frightening) - soooo although my lawn desperately needs mowed, its much too wet and muddy to do so. I did however rake up the back yard and pull weeds and grass with six foot monster roots out of the small garden I made along the foundation in the back yard last year. Its about 6' long and 2' deep. It has several varieties of daisies and cone flowers and something else - I can't recall. I want to do another 8' stretch - not today. I am pooped from the small bit I did :) Hopefully the grass will dry enough for me to at least get the back lawn mowed tomorrow. I will need to throw out some seed this week and spray my neighbors weeds - which is a constant battle keeping them out of my lawn. I got up at 6:30 am - its now 2pm and I think I'm going to take a nap.

Update
Well, I didn't take a nap - but I did get the back lawn mowed and I am whipped.
Tomorrow I plan to get the weed eater out and trim around fence and the house, and put some weed stuff down on the back lawn. I have a very large back yard so I usually take two days to mow it. Typically I mow the front on Wednesday's and the back on Thursdays - that way I don't have to devote my weekend to mowing the lawn and trying to keep up with my inside chores.

Now I really am in need of a shower.
