Sunday Stuff

Happy Sunday! Hope you have a warm sunshine filled day like we have in store here in Ohio.

Am meeting w/realtor again this afternoon to give the house another look and to see if I have any strong vibes about it one way or another. If something strikes me to put it out of my mind that would be great too.

I am so sick of hearing people filled with angst and hand wringing about the goings on in the world. Whining about it, blogging about it. Enough already. 99.9% of the time they are doing NOTHING but bitching, whining and complaining. They aren't out there rolling up their sleeves doing anything to change it. It's too easy to complain and sit back and leave the hard work to others to do. Either get busy or shut up. No, blogging is not enough unless you have traffic that puts you up there w/Kos or FDL. I would suggest you watch the first two episodes of "John Adams" which will give you a real sense of what real people did to start this country. If you are not out there canvasing or working with some other organization which advances causes you embrace then SHUT UP. Opinions mean nothing without action behind them. It's just empty rhetoric with no action. As Ghandi said "Be the change you wish to see."....or something like that :-) No canvassing for me this weekend but I've have completed my training to be a poll watcher for PFTAW while being a poll worker for my county. Don't complain about the voting if you aren't going to get out there and do your part. I guess the bottom line is I am sick of hearing the bitching from folks who aren't out there doing the work. I get involved because I don't want to wake up the day after the election thinking that I should have done something.
