Well, I finally broke down and purchased a Kindle. I've wanted one for a while but was waiting for the second generation to come out. What pushed me to go ahead and order a first generation Kindle was cost. Originally, the Kindle was $499. Recently it had gone down to $359. Last week Oprah featured it on her show and the owner of Amazon gave an incentive of $50 off if you purchased it by 11/1. So, I got one for $300. My reasoning for purchasing a first generation was this - the second generation will likely be more expensive and what if I find I do not like it? Better to purchase a cheaper version and if I like it, I can always upgrade as I did with my very first iPod. Haven't received it yet - will let you know when I do.

My Newest Toy
