What a day! What a day! What a day!
At least it’s Friday AND it’s National Chocolate Parfait Day! YIPEE. Go have a chocolate parfait today. Cocoa and chocolate contain a large amount of antioxidants (flavinoids). Cocoa and dark chocolate may keep high blood pressure down and reduce the blood's ability to clot, thus the risk of stroke and hart attacks may be reduced. The darker chocolate with the most concentrated cocoa will be the most beneficial. But remember- eating more does not provide additional benefits ;-)
I am ‘Charge Nurse’ at the office today which means I am in charge of getting 45 staff members to get about 6,000 patients reviewed today. It’s only 3PM and we have completed our goal for the day.
We had no system issues today – has been an amazingly smooth day today. I am blessed. The rest of the day is down hill.
It’s still raining here and supposed to rain through the weekend. Guess I can’t do the lawn. Trying to decide if I want to go get paint and paint the dining room tonight. I don’t know if I am up to all that. Still have hours to decide.
Greek place was nice – we didn’t care for the food though – so we won’t be doing that again. In May, it’s MY pick – so I have to find a new place for us to go eat out. I love these dinners with my sisters and look forward to them.
That’s all for now.

I looked around, and there is no restaurant that serves chocolate parfait. Plenty of beer, (after all, it is Wisconsin), and Green Bay Packers Bratwurst mit Kraut, but no chocolate parfait. As someone knowledgeable in the medical profession, do you think there are benefits in drinking Guiness? In this colege town, everyone serves Guiness along with the usual Leinenkugels.
