On a weekend when gay rights were in the headlines, a reminder of how far there is left to go: Jack Price, an openly gay man, was left in critical condition on Friday after an attack by two men who targeted him for his sexual orientation. Price, 49, was going for a pack of cigarettes when Daniel Altman, 26, and another at-large suspect allegedly attacked him, calling him a “faggot.” "Look what they did to him because he is gay," Price's sister-in-law said. "It is in God's hands right now. There is nothing more they can do for him."
