You may want to hold off on your Christmas gift: DigiTimes says Foxconn Electronics has notified workers in China that they will begin shipping the iPad 2 within 100 days—as soon as the end of February. Still, it may not go on sale until April. They’ll be shipping between 400,000 and 600,000 units in the first batch. Expect them to sell out quickly, as Apple sold six million iPads in the third quarter of 2010.
