This is a good question. I worked in motion picture production and have met a few celebs. None of us really know any of them, and the best of them act so good, the person you know is the person they play on TV or in the movies. I believe, having had this personal experience, that the feelings people get about celebrities are nothing more than the feelings the actor or actress want you to feel. The stronger the feeling, for good or bad, the better the actor.
I'm really not into celebs at all. They're people. I never choose movies because of who is in them. I admire most those who try to do something for others with their power and money like George Clooney.
