“There is little success where there is little laughter.”
-Andrew Carnegie
Sometimes we get so serious when we’re chasing dreams.
We push ourselves, worry our hard work won’t pay off, compare ourselves to other people, and generally turn striving into stressing.
This is life–right here, right now.
Not when you get what you’re working toward. Not when people know you as you want to be known. Not when you’ve gotten the job, bought the house, earned the promotion, built your empire, amassed your fortune, or otherwise created some picture perfect life.
Give yourself permission to enjoy today, no matter where you are in the journey. You might be surprised by the success you’ll create as a consequence of relieving the pressure.
