A misleading Ottawa County Board of Elections mailer that provided the wrong voting date and location to 2,300 Marblehead-area voters has prompted Ohio's Democratic Party to call for a correction and ask that Secretary of State Jon Husted review all the board's correspondence for the past year "to ensure that there are no other errors that could disenfranchise voters."
"There is no excuse for a board of elections or Secretary Husted's office to botch their most basic job, notifying voters when and where to exercise their right to vote," said a statement from Ohio Democratic Party Chairman Chris Redfern, who resides in Ottawa County.
