A member of the jury that acquitted George Zimmerman, Juror B29, thinks the neighborhood watchman “got away with murder,” but also believes the trial was a publicity stunt.
The only minority on the all-female jury that found Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder spoke to ABC News on Thursday. Identified only as Maddy, the woman said the jury felt in their hearts Zimmerman was guilty, but there was not enough evidence to convict him.
Zimmerman reported Trayvon Martin to police last year before shooting the unarmed Florida teenager. He said Martin attacked him and was pounding his head into the ground.
