When to See Your Doctor

You don't need to run to your doctor at the first sign of a cold or flu. But certain symptoms warrant a visit or a phone call.

-High fever that's marked by dizziness or a stiff neck.

-Trouble breathing, shortness of breath, or chest pain.

-Severe facial pain or pressure behind the eyes plus congestion.

-Sore throat without a runny nose or cough.

-Cold symptoms - headache, nasal congestion, post nasal drip, and sinus pressure that last longer than 10 days.
