In an expletive-filled video diatribe directed at gun control group Moms Demand Action, a gun rights activist pushed back at the group’s latest attempt to limit the open carry of weapons, telling the women to “Put a d*ck in your mouth and shut up!” in a video discovered by Liberaland.
Phoenix resident Rob Kinnison — who uploads pro-gun rants on YouTube under the name Raging Rob – posted the video in response to Moms Demand Action’s drive to get the country’s largest supermarket chain, Kroger, to ban open-carry in their stores.
In a bleep-filled tirade, Kinnison vociferously explains that he is going to continue sending photos of himself bearing his gun while at Kroger stores.

Las Vegas Shooting Spree – A Product of Tea Party ‘Ideology’
This is your Republican party...
Emerging facts about the couple responsible for the Las Vegas shooting spree not only confirm the reality of domestic terrorism, but the fact that there is a large network of money and media enablers behind it.
Despite the Alex Jones’ propaganda machine’s wild claims that this is another false flag, facts show that right wing nut jobs who listen to Jones (along with Fox, Limbaugh and the standard right wing propaganda sources) were responsible for the Las Vegas shooting spree that left two police officers and an innocent bystander dead. Perhaps most interesting as we enter the propaganda phase of whose to blame for this week’s mass shooting, lies in the fact that a fellow right winger, Richard Mack, destroy’s Jones’ conspiracy theory. The combination of facts include Facebook posts, rants at right wing websites like Info wars and Breitbart.com years before the Millers went on their shooting spree.

Large Christian Organization Starts Petition Against Sarah Palin
As they should...
Faithful America is the largest and fastest growing online community of Christians, putting faith into action for social justice. They have watched the right-wing political agendas highjack the true messages of Jesus, and this faith-based organization will no longer be silent.
In her ever smug and sarcastic way, Sarah Palin, made an incredibly hateful, bizarre, and insensitive statement during the annual NRA/NRAAM event. Speaking to a cheering NRA crowd, Sarah Palin spouted:
"…Water-boarding is how we baptize terrorists."
In disgust, and to distance themselves as Christians, from the pseudo-Christian Palin claims to be, Faithful America started a petition against her, and began the petition with these words:
"This is what we've come to in America: A former candidate for vice-president can equate torture and Holy Baptism, and one of the nation's most powerful political lobbies erupts into cheers and applause.
As usual, Palin's remarks are already making international headlines, once again portraying Christianity as a religion of hatred and violence. But this time, let's show just how many Christians are appalled by Palin's twisted misrepresentation of our faith."

GOP MisTweets #ObamaCare Survey Results
Mistweets? HA! I think LIED is more appropriate.
House Speaker John Boehner, among other Republicans, wrongly tweeted that a recent “study” found “74% of small businesses will fire workers, cut hours under #Obamacare.” Actually, no more than 13 percent of the small businesses surveyed said that.
On July 16, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released a three-page report summarizing the results of its Small Business Outlook Study for the second quarter of 2013. The report said: “Despite the Administration’s delay of the employer mandate by a year, small businesses expect the requirement to negatively impact their employees. 27% say they will cut hours to reduce full time employees, 24% will reduce hiring, and 23% plan to replace full time employees (30 hours per week or more) with part-time workers to avoid triggering the mandate.”

Fewer Waiting Periods For Guns Than For Abortions
In many states, it takes longer to get an abortion than it does to purchase a gun. Twenty-six states require women to wait for an abortion, usually 24 hours after an initial counseling session — making the procedure more drawn out for everyone and less accessible to people who live in rural areas or have to take time off of work. Several of these states do not waive the waiting period in cases of rape. And in all but two of the states that mandate waiting periods for abortions, there is no wait at all to purchase a firearm.
The federal government protects both the right to bear arms and the right to have an abortion, but barriers to exercising these rights often depend on whether a state is controlled by Democrats or Republicans.

Fox contributor: Liberals who reject that men should dominate women are anti-science
Fox Business personalities had a collective freak out on Wednesday night after learning that mothers were now the primary source of income in 40 percent of U.S. households.
Fox Business host Lou Dobbs asserted women earning more than their husbands was an indication of the dissolution of American society. Fox News political analyst Juan Williams agreed, describing it as a sign of the disintegration of marriage that would have negative consequences for generations to come.
Fox News contributor Erick Erickson went one step further, saying nature itself commanded that women be subservient to men.
“I’m so used to liberals telling conservatives that they’re anti-science,” Erickson explained. “But liberals who defend this and say it is not a bad thing are very anti-science. When you look at biology, when you look at the natural world, the roles of a male and a female in society and in other animals, the male typically is the dominant role. The female, it’s not antithesis, or it’s not competing, it’s a complementary role.”

Tea partier: Way to change Susan Collins’ mind on immigration is to ‘shoot her’
A caller on a tea party-sponsored conference call Wednesday suggested that the way to change Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME)’s mind on immigration reform would be to “shoot her.” According to Think Progress, the violent suggestion was not condemned, but met with hoots of laughter by others on the call.
Far-right conservative group The Eagle Forum held the call, which featured Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)’s communications director Stephen Miller and the Heritage Foundation’s Robert Rector. The suggestion that Collins should be shot came when the call moderator turned the discussion over to callers.
An individual identified as “Bob from Maine” said, “I’m from Maine and our tea party will be meeting up next week. What is the best way that we can get our senator to listen to us?”
“Shoot her,” said another caller, who did not identify himself.

Even more advertisers leave Glenn Beck

When RAW STORY ran a blog just last week detailing the stunning success of a campaign to knock advertisers off the Glenn Beck television show and radio program, our story was stunningly successful, with almost 3,000 votes on Digg and tens of thousands of page views.
But that kind of response is likely just a taste of the pressure to drop Beck currently being applied to numerous major U.S. corporations.
Because of that pressure, Color of Change announced today that Walmart, a key bank with GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS, Travelocity, Re-Bath, Broadview Security and Allergan have all backed out, bringing the list of former Glenn Beck advertisers to Twenty.
Other high-profile companies shaken loose from the Fox editorialist's fold include Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, State Farm, S.C. Johnson, GEICO, Men's Wearhouse, Sargento, ConAgra, Roche, Sanofi-Aventis and RadioShack.
"We are heartened to see so many corporate citizens step up in support of our campaign against Glenn Beck," said James Rucker, executive director of Color of Change, in a media advisory. "Their action sends a clear a message to Glenn Beck: Broadcasters shouldn’t abuse the privilege they enjoy by spewing dangerous and racially charged hate language over the air. No matter their political affiliation, hate language doesn’t belong in our national dialogue."
The group added that Best Buy's director of public relations actually claimed they were advertising on Beck's program by accident.
Carolyn Castel, Vice President of Corporate Communications at the national pharmacy chain CVS, added that "we expect [public debate] to be informed, inclusive and respectful, in keeping with our company’s core values and commitment to diversity." Which is apparently why they pulled out of Beck's show.
Ouch!
