Yesterday started out as a disaster for me because I erroneously set my alarm for 5:30PM rather than AM so I woke up at 6:50 and was late to the office. Because I was running behind, I didn't get a "before" photo of the house as yellow like I wanted.

When the day was done I was afraid to go home. Not "scared" afraid - but anxious. I have no idea why. I just thought I'd get home and the contractors would say "Your house was sooooo messed up we couldn't even do the siding!" I don't know why my mind goes there - part of that old negative thinking pattern.

When I pulled up to the house around 6PM I got out of the car and cried. It is such a drastic change from what it was. I told the supervisor that it was like "Extreme Home Make Over".

The house doesn't look like much in this photo because they have ripped the gutters off. The roof and gutters will be done tomorrow. I also asked them not to put the old shades or light fixtures up. During my lunch hour I mowed the front lawn and ran over the flower beds because they had trampled them - so it looks rather naked - but it is such a change and they did such a good job.
