I used to hate Sunday nights. I hated them because of the dreaded Monday morning. You know back to work - going out into the rush hour traffic - starting another week. I always had great difficulty sleeping on Sunday nights. I'd toss and turn thinking about work and everything else on the planet.
Since I started working from home, my Sundays are very laid back. One reason is because sometimes I work weekends. Another reason is that I just don't have the stress of commuting and office politics and being over worked. It's been very nice. Until tonight.
My roof was not done on Saturday as planned. Guess the issue was that the dump closes at noon on Saturday and the contractor's were down to one truck making it an impossible feat for them to get done. My roof has two layers of shingles on it so they needed two trucks in order to get the roof stripped and the stuff to the dump by noon. Soooooooo they are doing the roof tomorrow, weather permitting. Which translates into me having to get up and go into the office in the morning after enjoying a weekend off. So, I've been sulking all day in anticipation of having to go into the office yet again....and on a Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost hope it rains. Somehow going in on a Tuesday would be better than a Monday.
I ran errands today - bought new shutters for the house and some new outside light fixtures. I also bought some bricks to start building a flower bed in the front. I don't have a truck so I can only buy 10 at a time. Fortunately, Lowe's is less than a mile away. I will get ten more tomorrow.
Have a great week.
