Children help government soldiers carry artillery shells Tuesday in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Heavy fighting has continued in this war-torn area, 19 miles west of Goma, as government soldiers attack positions held by rebels loyal to dissident general Laurent Nkunda.
