Hanging Around

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

I do not return to work until next Thursday and have a load of things on my 'to-do' list to complete.

First on the list was to complete my 'above ground' garden. Last night I purchased some 2'x 6's and assembled them in the back yard. I will need to get dirt to fill it and will post pictures of my progress.

I also got some more flowers to fill up these hanging bags I purchased. You fill the bags with dirt and then plant the flowers through the front of the bag. The bags have hangars on them so you can hang them from fence posts, or from wherever your heart desires.

I also need to finish cleaning the garage, clean the basement, make arrangements for routine maintenance on the car, get estimate to replace bumper, call garage door repairman as one of the doors is not going up the way it should, call the AC repairman as AC is not working - do major spring cleaning - and in between all of that - find time to relax as well. Today I slept in until 8:30 so that's a little bit of relaxing.

Today is my little sister's birthday. I already purchased tickets for the three of us to go see "A Chorus Line" in June. I found these beautiful/unusual flowers yesterday and I am taking her some of those today. I've never seen them before and found them to be stunning. I will try to remember to take a pic of them. Perhaps I'm the last person on the planet to have seen them but I think they're something!

So, I'm off to start my day with a cup of coffee and bowl of oatmeal - then on to tackle my chores. I hope all of you have a great weekend.
