House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Bush "a total failure" on Thursday, among the California Democrat's harshest assessments to date of the president.
"God bless him, bless his heart, president of the United States -- a total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy, you name the subject," Pelosi told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an exclusive interview.

Although she has proved to be a weak and disappointing leader - that in no way is comparable to the failures of Bush. Not even in the same book let alone the same page.

I don't see how calling a spade a spade is 'party politics' especially when > 70% of the country thinks Bush is a failure. Had Pelosi been a Republican and said that would it have been 'party politics'. Actually it reflects a failure of the news media to ask Pelosi for specifics and then to follow up and report on those specifics so the public is aware of WHY bush is a failure.
