I know who she is, and I probably could recognize her if I saw her, but I can honestly say I've never watched one episode of her show, and I am proud of that. (Also includes 24, NCIS, Survivor and other reality shows and most drama series on TV.
I LOVE the "O"!!!!!! Have watched her since her nationally syndicated show launched. I thought the article was interesting and since I am the REAL 'fair and balanced' site :) I posted it. AND.....don't be dissin my "24"! Am a huge 24 fan. Like you, I've never watched a reality show - not even "American Idol"...I disdain those who do.
Yes, you are fair and balanced. I feel the need to explain that I just don't like being a part of daily or weekly shows, reality or not. It might be the advertising or advertisers, or maybe it's being on a schedule I don't like. As far as "24", too many guns on the promos. There is reality, and UN reality. Love your blog!
I don't like being a slave to shows either...BUT I have recently (since my high def blew me out of the water) become such a tv whore :) I do record all the shows I watch and watch them when I want - otherwise I'd miss most everything. 24 a friend turned me on to in the second season. I remember taking season 1 home on DVD - watched the first episode and thought "this is a guy show, not my cup of tea" cause I hate violence for the sake of violence too....BUT I gave the second episode a whirl. I was hooked by the end of the second episode and stayed up until 4AM watching.....I had to see what happened. I'm weak. :) Been a fan ever since.
