Found this at Target's website of all places. Was exactly as I had in my head that I wanted for a big wall in my dining room. Was about what I wanted to spend and shipping is FREE!!!!!!

THIS is the one we have in our kitchen/dining area. I built wooden wall shelves above it the entire length. Similar to what you picture.
I like the drawers.
Are you remodeling or fixing up/organizing? Always seems like plenty to do when you own a home, and never enough money to do it all.

We're installing a new Hot Water heater ealy next month.

Peace.

Nice table!

Just doing some redoing:) Repainted dining room last fall - it's a large space and needed a table to put against one of the walls. The one I found matches the stain of the dining room table. I plan to put some wicker baskets on the bottom shelf to toss things that are going back the the library, gloves, etc. and use the drawers to hide chargers for cell phone, ipod. Then I'm going to re-cover the chairs and make matching curtains.

I also plan on replacing the light in that room. Currently there is an old and ugly lighted ceiling fan above the table which I am going to take down and replace with a nice hanging light. Then I will replace the back storm door and perhaps the inside door as well.

Then it's on to the kitchen! I repainted the dining room in a chive green and am going to do the kitchen in a yellow. I can't afford to put in new cabinets so am going to paint the existing ones. Right now I'm thinking a contrasting red BUT may opt to go with a lighter green or even the 'antique' style painting. I plan to use a red/green/yellow combo with the seat covers and drapes to tie it all together since the kitchen/dining room are one big area. After that is all done I am pulling up the flooring (Carpet and linoleum) and putting down wood flooring throughout the house. Lumber Liqudator's is very CHEAP and my nephew and brother in law are going to help me install it. That project is probably a year away as I am throwing every extra dime I have into getting my student loans paid off this year. That's my goal for 2010. Also want to get a new fridge this year with the energy credit for taxes and the state rebate. Recently replaced the stove. I am also looking on craigs list for new sink....who knows I may end up finding cabinets I can use. After floors are done I have a space I want a half a wall built and counter top put on for a pass through or bar to break up the area. THEN it's onto new furniture :) in the liv room. :)
