Ultimate bargain hunters eschew even deep discount sales in favor of buying products (hopefully only gently) used. Experts say, however, that for some items, buying used is not the way to go.
Mrs. Spadoman buys a lot of clothing at second hand stores. She never buys uinderwear. I see they list this as number 14. She doesn't buy used shoes either, but the other day she brought home a pair of leather mocassins from a garage sale that had a Fifty Cents price tag on them. She is so proud of her "find" that she wears them with the price tag still on them. I think I'll go check her underwear, while she's wearing them LOL
