While the obvious point of this graphic is that mosquitoes kill far more humans than any other animal, and humans kill the second-most (although this infographic doesn’t seem contain war fatalities), we did — for the record — find some pretty different numbers for a few of these. For example, according to the African Wildlife Foundation and National Geographic, elephants kill about 500 people per year and hippos almost 3,000!
