Monday Stuff

Yesterday was a beautiful day and my rock star boyfriend, Bruce Springsteen was unfrigginbelievable. He sings pretty good too! He did about 10 songs and from the news I gather about 10,000 people showed up to see him. You can find the local news story HERE.

Well, the house that I really, REALLY loved but didn't feel the urge to jump on started speaking to me this past weekend. Saturday, I went to get a manicure. When I was done and about to get up to wash my hands I suddenly said to Kelly, the manicurist, "I want polish." I NEVER get polish. So after getting polish applied I went to the 'drying station' - a place you sit and air blows on your nails and UV light comes on and hardens the polish. While I was sitting there a woman sat next to me and we began to talk and it turns out her mother lives on the block where this house is located. Has lived there for years. It is a very close knit community and the woman said it is safe. She knew the exact house I was talking about. She said dignitaries are always coming into the neighborhood in buses to see this city project of rebuilding the neighborhood. So......I have contacted the realtor and am going to go look at the house again.

Well, I'm off today. Was going to canvas again today but am feeling a bit under the weather so I am just going to hang around the house and do house stuff. I hope everyone has a joyous Monday. Oh, and stop complaining and get out there and do something to make things different. Things don't change without action from you.

Hope you're able to put the "polishing touches" on the house deal...
